The young fan in question, as can be seen here, is standing next to a cut-out picture of the actor. Dwayne is seen wearing a pick suit, while the fan is all dressed up for a prom. The girl has a massive smile on her face and could not be any happier.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Thank you @therock for taking me to prom. I had so much fun. Best date a person could ask for. #dwanejohnson #therock #prom #prom2022 #promnight #itsaboutdriveitsaboutpower.”
In response, Dwayne could not help but react. But rather than mocking the fan, Dwayne started to get in on the joke. He responded by sharing the social media post to his millions of followers. And in the process of doing so, Dwayne praised the fan for her efforts. And by the looks of it, Dwayne’s ‘cut out’ had a great time too.
In response, the star replied: “It was absolutely my honor @smilesweetsraccoon and you were the best prom date EVER!!’ ‘Great to meet your family and friends too! Ps, I’m super happy you posted this! Have the best summer! Dj.”
The fans on social media could not help but play along with the joke too. People praised the actor for taking it all in jest and in fact they also wanted Dwanye to respond to them if they acted in a similar way.
One person wrote: “Someone get me a cardboard cut out of dwayne johnson right now,” while another person stated: “And finally the Rock has come back to the Prom.” The fan certainly had a day to remember, and she will not be forgetting that anytime soon.
