Looks like cooler heads are going to prevail in Genoa City, but CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are sure it’s not going to last.
There’s a whiff of change in the air, but will it be for good or bad? We have a feeling they’ll be more good than not, but there’s always the chance something will go wrong along the way.
Let’s get to the spoilers!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: New plan
Since Victor Newman (Eric Braden) has shown the maturity and patience of a two year old lately, we suspect he’s taken a breath and will slow things down slightly.
Of course, ‘Young and the Restless’ suspect this is nothing more than Victor trying to keep himself in check before he pulls another bonehead move, which means he has something else up his sleeve.
This could just be the first step in a larger plan now that he’s taken time to think things through, and it’ll no doubt play into Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc)’s efforts to undermine Victoria Newman’s new business venture.
It should be interesting to see what Victor has up his sleeve.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Lily’s challenge
With Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) striving for something else to do on top of his podcast, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have an idea that’ll involve Billy switching gears into something more challenging.
We’re curious what this could be, but we think it’s possible she’s going to give him a new project that, once completed, will become Billy’s new baby to work on and cultivate.
This could be anything, and we’re curious if it’s a challenge Billy will embrace or find too easy.
We have a feeling this is going to be a fun segment simply to see Billy’s reaction.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Another celebration
Since Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are going to once again celebrate a win, we think it’s going to involve Victor’s change of plans.
Which could mean Adam’s position as CEO is guaranteed for another week.
Or they could still be celebrating their last celebration since that’s about all they do anymore.
Either way, the two of them will spill more information in their monologues back and forth than we get through most of the episode usually, so at least it’ll be informative.
Though we have to admit it’s starting to get old with these two celebrating every episode instead of actually doing something.
They’re more akin to join lottery winners than business people at this point, and we feel we’re just waiting for them to go bankrupt before passing Go and collecting their next payment.
