Things aren’t quite settled in Genoa City despite most of the problems being dealt with, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are interested in a couple of plot twists coming.
There’s a good chance for some fun days ahead as the tension will continue to mount, so let’s dive in and see what’s coming.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Bad news
Amanda Sinclair (Michael Morgan) has been having a semi-rough time trying to keep Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) in check in her quest for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), but things are going to take a turn.
Imani will tell her that she’s received new about her dad, and ‘Young and the Restless’ expect it to be some of the worst kind.
Going by how Imani told Amanda in the weekly spoiler, we think he’s going to be sick and dying or simply dying.
This is going to give the sisters a chance to further bond as Amanda tries to comfort and help her through it, and it could also galvanize Imani to go after what she wants even harder.
It’s not easy knowing someone’s dying, and this may be the catalyst that pushes her more into the Imani first frame of mind.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Michael the helper
There could be some interesting times ahead for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) as he’s going to help Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) out in what we’re assuming is her job search.
We can’t wait for the Newmans to hear about this one, especially when it’s a trusted friend that’s not following Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s wishes.
While Michael’s simply helping out a friend and waiting to see if she really did chance, Victor and Nikki will be up in arms over this.
We can’t blame them due to their history with her, but to be fair, Diane has walked the line since she returned to Genoa City and Nikki’s the one that has confronted her numerous times when Diane dared enter a room.
We get the feeling Victor and Nikki are being broken down for either a life lesson or be pushed to the side.
However that works out, we just hope Michael doesn’t learn the hard way what happens when a pawn fights back.
