Fans have reacted to Brad Pitt’s cover for August’s GQ magazine, which has not gone down very well.
Brad Pitt Ridiculed Over His GQ Cover Shoot-‘Did Brad Pitt Really Go All Plastic?’
Brad, for his part, may be known for being a heartthrob. But this time around, the following cover shoot received a mixed response to say the least. In the picture here, we can see that the actor is laying down on a bed of roses. He is wearing a blue jacket, with this chest visible.
He is then staring into the distance, as his complexion looks very pale. Naturally, then, the comments started to focus on Brad’s appearance. And they were quite harsh indeed. One person wrote: “Oh no. Did Brad Pitt really go all plastic?!
“He was the best looking guy ever with some lines in his face. I don’t even recognize him here,” while another person stated: “He looks like a recently assassinated New Jersey mobster in an open coffin.”
It is not exactly clear what type of look the actor was going for, but one thing for sure is that Brad is reaching the latter end of his career. He recently expanded on how he was considering the possibility of walking away from the profession, which may explain why he is trying more outlandish things.
And as a result, it could justify why he decided to go ahead with this novel cover shoot. In his prior comments, he stated: “I consider myself on my last leg. This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?”
And yet, Brad still had one huge fan of the cover shoot. Elizaveta Porodina, who happened to be the photographer, spoke on how proud she was to have worked with the star. And in the process of doing so, she felt he came across very well.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “Hardly finding any fitting words to announce this @gq cover with an artist whose name can almost be considered an adjective these days – Mr Brad Pitt himself.”
