’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that, watching Kobe Blaise and Emily Bieberly’s argument, it’s easy to assess one thing, they were both in the wrong. The way Emily just kept hounding Kobe when he wasn’t used to being around horses and wasn’t used to working in a barn was rather irritating.
She said she was trying to help but sometimes you have to learn things by actually doing them and that seems to be the type of learner that Kobe is. Kobe, even though he was kind of afraid of the horses, took it all in stride for the most part, even though he didn’t really know what he was doing. It was obvious that he had never done that type of work before, so it was a little presumptuous of her to assume that he’d automatically be good at it.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Kobe Blaise and Emily Bieberly are both wrong
The fandom seemed to get really bad vibes from the entire scene, given American History and pre-civil war. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it gave me those vibes, she wasn’t screaming at him or being abusive, but she was making sure to press all of his buttons and pulling rank on him.
It is a little disturbing to see how much she does that on a daily basis, he said that she wasn’t like that in China, and one kind of wonders what changed, was it just being a Mom that changed her or is it just being around her parents?
Her Mom seems rather chilled out, aside from telling Kobe that she didn’t like him snapping at her daughter to “Shut the f*** up.” but what Mom could stand by and let that go? Not many. Even if Emily was being irritating, it’s still clear that her Mom is going to take her side. However, when it comes to what Kobe did, while it wasn’t okay to do, it was obvious to see that he snapped in the moment and would have said anything to get her to shut up.
He felt backed into a corner, and a lot of people would agree and would have probably done the same thing. We do get where Emily is coming from though, she doesn’t want their son to see him treat her that way and get the idea that it’s okay to treat women that way. We do get it. But at the same time… Emily can kindly shut up.
