As wiry as he might look, Biniyam Shibre royally kicked ass. It took him 33 seconds, he began strongly by kicking the guy in the chest and then repeatedly pounding him until he was down and then getting him in a choke-hold. Honestly, at first, we were a bit worried about Biniyam because he doesn’t seem like he would be that strong of a guy at first glance, but he fooled everyone and managed to choke out the guy at the end – heck, he even had enough energy left to do a backflip off the side of the ring!
His trainer was excited because he said that it was manuevers that they had practiced and he loved to see them in action – also, he said that Biniyam was awesome and we have to agree, he was.

Ariela Weinberg cringed her way through the entire thing. You could tell that like us, her initial faith in Biniyam was dubious. She thought that something was going to happen to him and tried to encourage him not to go into the ring.
But obviously, Biniyam had trained for this and he was not about to miss his chance, even if he had come away not winning the fight he meant to at least try, and you kind of have to admire that kind of strength about him. Fortunately, this time things worked out and he managed to win this fight. Ariela seems to think that this was a phase and he was just going to do this one fight to get it out of his system.
Because Biniyam says that she’s invited to the next one. Poor Ariela, she said that at first she was worried about Biniyam, but then she found herself sympathizing with the opponent he choked out because she was asking, “Is he okay?” pick a side, Ariela. You could tell that while she was glad that Bini won, she totally isn’t digging the MMA vibe.
However, her outfit and hair did get a lot of nice compliments on social media, she dressed up really nice to go to a fight and support him and that was honestly a little more than i was expecting from Ariela, considering how much she hates the idea of Biniyam’s MMA career, but it was good to see her all dressed up. She still hates violence though, so we’re not sure if this is the right career path or not. Stay tuned!!!
