90 Day Fiancé: Kobe Blaise Learns A Lot About the Cost of Living in America
Kobe feels that he has plenty of money to keep them going. He has $4,000 with him and he thought that could get them through for a few months. This is not the case in the United States.
When Kobe explains to her father how much money he has, her father seems shocked. He tells Kobe that is not a lot of money in the states and that would probably only last them for a couple of months.
Kobe told the cameras, “With four thousand back in Cameroon, you can rent an apartment on our own, that can take you like almost a year and feed your family. I was thinking that this money can fulfillthe promises that I made to Emily but now, I don’t know.”
Emily’s father then tells Kobe, “Emily has no clue how all this stuff works so it’s not party in the U.S.A. It’s work, work, work, and I hope you’re ready for it.” He then tells the cameras, ‘He’s got a lot of mouths to feed. I think he’s got good intentions but I don’t know, I think I’m still waiting to feel when they realize that love isn’t enough and if they’re willing to go the extra mile to make it work. We’ll see.”
It looks like Kobe and Emily are going to have a wake up call if they want to move out of her parents’ house. It will be tough for them to make this work if their financial issues don’t get worked out.
