‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that in a preview for this coming week we see things spicing up between Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). However, that’s not good, as Nate is with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy)… Ironically, they cheated together.
Remember the old adage: “once a cheater, always a cheater”? This may be the case with Nate unfortunately, as things look to get pretty scandalous between he and Imani. In the preview we see her heading upstairs to “think” in the shower and she invites him up! Later on, we see him apologizing to Elena! Did Nate cheat?

While it could be a teaser and Nate didn’t actually act, it’s going to be difficult for him to explain away Imani as she’s all over him. Viewers, “I love Imani! This is good soapy drama. I think Nate and Imani have good chemistry. I can’t wait to watch this week.”, “Nate better be careful, Armani is way too obvious and desperate! Hilary and Alaina should’ve never told her about their personal business.”, “Oh lord. Imani came to destroy, haha” and “It’s interesting to take Imani who’s rarely on screen and go to 100%. While she does strike me as someone who goes after what she wants, the characterization in the promo seems off. I hope they don’t vilify her to make Elena seem interesting, because she’s not.”
We’ve only seen Imani a handful of times, but now it looks like she’s going to come on screen a lot more in this storyline, and it’s going to be her verse Elena. Perhaps they’ll finally have Elena do something rather than just be the catalyst for a long, drawn-out fight between Nate and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
