Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be bringing any cameras from Netflix to the UK upon their visit for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

There were initially concerns that the couple could upstage the monarch’s celebrations in light of her 70th year in charge, with the sideshow camera crew. After all, this is the first time that the couple will be attending the UK to be shown in front of the British public since their exit from the Royal Family in 2020.
And with Netflix having given the green light for the duo to have a docuseries, there was a feeling that Harry and Meghan could exploit every opportunity that was available to them to get some footage.
And yet, this has been prevented by the ’Sandringham agreement’ that the couple had allegedly made. This agreement stressed that the couple would earn their own private income. And if they were to renege on that, it would leave a rather distasteful feeling.
A source said: “I highly doubt they would even think about that. It would be such a bad look. Even if they could sneak a camera in, they wouldn’t be able to use any of the footage. I guess they could do home video on their phones, but I honestly don’t think they would.”
Irrespective of whether they will be able to get any footage, there is no denying that Harry and Meghan could exploit other avenues. Their visit could be an attempt to get back into the good books of the British public after having divided them primarily due to their controversial Oprah Winfrey interview.
And with the British public, as well as the monarch, not having met Lilibet, the couple can fix some of the damage that has been done to their reputation. Time will tell how Harry and Megan do end up being received by the British public and press.
