Kate, for her part, is well aware of Johnny after having been together with him for around four years. Kate’s testimony was part of her coming as a rebuttal witness, which saw her testify via video link from the UK.
And this was in response to Heard’s alleged claim that Depp had pushed Kate down the stairs. Although that may have been the case, it still was a big deal for Kate to speak out.
And he came out to categorically confirm that there was no violent behavior subjected towards her when she was in a relationship with the Hollywood actor. As a result, it cast further doubts on Heard’s claims of abuse. Thus, Naomi praised her for coming forward.
In her comments, she said: “YES WAGON TELL IT !! @ katemossagency.” This was a significant point, as if Depp had been violent towards Moss, there was a possibility that he could have done the same thing to Heard.
When Kate was asked whether or not her fall from the stairs had been caused by Johnny, this is what she had to say: “He never pushed me, kicked me, or threw me down any stairs. Johnny had left the room before I did, and there had been a rainstorm.
“And as I left the room, I slid down the stairs and hurt my back.” Not only was this a blow for Heard, but the fact that Kate admitted Johnny sought out medical assistance for her suggested a man that was not capable of violence.
And at a time where Heard is already facing scrutiny in her own right, this has only gone on to work against her. Kate added: “I was in pain. And [Depp] came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention.”
