In the on-going defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, the jury has heard a lot of testimonies from people in their lives. Today, Depp couldn’t stop laughing when Heard’s attorney called his bodyguard to the stand. The reason that he was giggling is because his bodyguard was asked if he had seen Depp’s penis.
The Testimony
Malcolm Connolly provided his testimony through Zoom and he still works for Depp to this day. He agreed that there was a point where he heard some noises of anger coming from Heard and Depp in their home.

He was also asked if Depp had been trying to urinate in their home and he said that there was no way that he would do that. The giggling began when he was asked if he saw Depp’s penis. Malcolm told the jury, “I think I would’ve remembered seeing Mr. Depp’s penis.” That is when the courtroom erupted in laughter.
Depp is suing Heard for defamation of character because of an op-ed that she wrote a few years ago about surviving domestic violence in a marriage. She never called him out or mentioned his name, but it is pretty much a given at the time that it came out. Depp claims that this has caused him to lose millions of dollars in movie roles because she has blasted his good name. No one wants to hire him now and this is the reason this trial pushes on .
These two met in 2011 on the set of “The Rum Diary” and they were married in 2015. Heard and Depp did not stay together very long, in fact, they broke up in May of 2016 and their divorce was settled in August of 2016. Heard has made some intense claims about her ex-husband, but from the looks of it, this is plaguing her career as well.
It recently came out that now her time in the Aquaman 2 movie will be limited to only ten minutes. There was a petition circulating that has over two million signatures to get her taken out of the film.
This trial keeps going on and we will have to continue to watch it. Because of how public is it, there is quite a lot to catch up on and we will continue to monitor what happens next between Heard and Depp. Who knows what else will happen with these two in the courtroom? Watch and see.
