Rodriguez shared a photo of the baby on Instagram, revealing she’s called Bella Esmeralda. In the snap, the little girl appears to be smiling as she lays in her cot. Announcing their loss, the couple said they were “devastated” and added: “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.”

Ronaldo already has a four-year-old daughter with Rodriguez, as well as three other children. Following the devastating stillbirth, the couple and their other children returned home with their newborn daughter last Thursday, days after the footballer confirmed his partner had lost the child’s twin brother.
The couple had announced last October they were expecting twins and Georgina revealed she was carrying a boy and girl in a touching video featuring their daughter Alana Martina, four, and Cristiano’s three children Eva, Mateo and Cristiano Jr. “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you,” he wrote in October. The Spanish press reported earlier this year Georgina was set to give birth to her twins at a private Madrid hospital.
