90 Day Fiancé: Paola Mayfield Caught Up in Phone Scam
With everything going right for her lately, she had a moment last week when she got a big scare and was concerned that she was about to lose it all.
She got a very weird phone call and was taken aback by it. Of course, it was a number that she didn’t know. She told her fans that normally, she will not pick up an unknown number, but for some reason, she felt that she needed to answer this one. She said when she answered, she was transferred to someone who said that they were an immigration officer.
As soon as she was transferred, she was told that there was a package at the United States border with her name on it and it was under investigation for being something that cannot be brought into the states. Of course, this scared her and she was curious about what was going on.
She got pretty nervous about the so-called package and she told her fans that the caller sounded legitimate, this is why she got scared and they even gave her a badge number. Then she was asked about her home address and how many bank accounts are in the home. She finally understood that these people were trying to scam her. She stopped answering all of their questions and then she told them that she would get her lawyer involved. That is when the caller told her, “Not even with the best attorney, can you get out of this.” Of course, this was weird to her.
Paola told her fans that this is a scam that they need to look out for and it seems that they are trying to find immigrants to scare them into giving away information about their finances. Be on the lookout for these scams!
