90 Day Diaries is one of the shows on Discovery+ that really does help us to get updates on some of our favorite cast members. One couple that we really wanted to know more about is Jon and Rachel Walters.
90 Day Diaries: Their Love Story
Rachel and Jon have had quote the love story and fans really want them to be together. They have been through so much and they are one couple that deserves happiness. The pandemic put quite the damper on Jon getting his K-1 visa, but it looks as if things are looking up for them! The April 4 episode of 90 Day Diaries, we got to find out a lot more about what is going on with them.
90 Day Diaries: Rachel Walters and Jon Walters
Rachel hadn’t seen Jon in two years, and as a married couple, this was very hard on them. Rachel can’t move to England to be with Jon because she has two children who’s father wants joint custody of them. Jon has has some criminal charges against him since he was young and getting out of England had been hard because of that.
Jon did have his interview for his K-1 visa in May of 2021. The visa ended up being denied that time. This was crushing for the couple and they have been trying whatever they can to make this happen.
Rachel said then, “Jon has been in trouble in the past for fighting, which obviously, on paper, doesn’t look very good. Having know that would have happened ahead of time, we saved up and already paid the waiver, which is basically asking the US to reverse the initial denial and let him in. And we should have an answer within five to eight months.”
The are currently waiting on the embassy to get back to them and let them know if this can be reversed. At this point, he could get a call any day now. The couple is very anxious about it and in the meantime, Rachel is setting everything up for him in New Mexico.
Their whole relationship has been long-distance and this has been very hard for them as a married couple. Rachel is working hard to get him to the states and it seems that they are very positive that he will get to her soon enough.
