Dave Portnoy of the BFFs Podcast was not having it when Tana Mongeau bailed on them at the last minute. She texted the podcast 30 minutes before she was supposed to appear and told them she was “puking everywhere”, one of the podcast hosts said, “I think that’s the second time she’s used that excuse.” to which Dave Portnoy totally went off on Tana saying, “What a piece of s***!” and the dragging did not end there.
He went onto say that no one takes Tana Mongeau seriously as a business person, and if he were a brand he would never do business with her and basically said that one way or the other she was going to ruin Dizzy Wine (her wine brand).
Tana Mongeau Gets EVISCERATED By Dave Portnoy After She Bails On His Podcast
Tana quote-tweeted the initial video of the podcast said, “I’M SICK FML! Dave Portnoy hates me f***!” and then shortly thereafter posted a tweet saying, “Update: Pissing off Dave Portnoy is scary” Dave’s rant was more vitriol than we’ve seen directed at Tana in a long time, because normally people just kind of let Tana get away with things, she doesn’t show up for things or she shows up late, or she makes sure she lets everyone and their brother know that the only priority in her life is herself and virtually no one else and for the most part everyone seems to be okay with that because it would seem that everyone has kind of written Tana off.
Everyone except for Dave Portnoy, and even though his rant was hate-filled it does bring up an excellent point. Tana herself has said in the past that she is working with an accountability coach to improve her accountability and her ability to show up and while she has improved some it would seem that sometimes her priorities get a little skewed.
Maybe she overbooks herself, maybe she simply parties too hard and doesn’t think ahead (which is probably far more likely), but the thing is by now you would expect her to not need as much hand-holding when it comes to accountability and it would seem that she does. She did finally upload a new episode of her podcast however, guess we’ll hear more about that drama on there. Stay tuned!!!
