William And Kate Refuse To Respond To Harry’s Comments About Protecting The Queen
Harry’s comments arrived on the back end of his visit to the monarch and Prince Charles. Thereafter, Harry spoke on the importance of making sure that the Queen had the ‘right people around her.’
But during his visit, both Kate and William were absent, as the latter duo were on a skiing trip. Naturally, then, following Harry’s remarks, the reporters wanted to know what the pair thought about what he had said.
During the couple’s visit to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) headquarters in London, as part of the organisation’s humanitarian work concerning Ukraine, one reporter asked the couple the following: “Sir, does the Queen need protecting?”
The pair decided to remain silent, as they made their way to the car. And on reflection, this could have been for the following reasons. First of all, such a question was out of line, considering that the duo were focusing on a charitable cause.
Secondly, in any event, this seems to be the policy that William adopted when he was asked about Prince Andrew during the latter’s sexual assault case. During that time, William also refused to answer questions about him.
The fans on social media were full of praise for the duo. Rather than throwing any more negative media attention, the couple’s silence ultimately protected the monarchy from receiving more scrutiny.
And in the process of doing so, Harry was called out for trying to make himself appear as a savior. One person wrote: “There is no denying class, which is William and Kate, caring and loving people, who love and protect the Queen.
“Harry’s stupidity and attempts to make himself into a 15 minute hero for the public showing concern for his Grandmother after 2 years in CA.” It is safe to say that Kate and William have not resolved their differences with Harry. So there you have it folks.
