Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of April 18th reveal Salem residents might want to consider disaster insurance on their weddings. Because yet another Salem ceremony is about to go wrong. Here’s what you need to know, as well as a couple of other things to look at for this week.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Here comes the bride…
First of all, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate the promo for this week focuses entirely on the double wedding. Well, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) part of it, anyway. It starts off nice, with Gwen being led down the aisle by Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). We’ve got to give the girl props here, because what we can see of the wedding dress is nice! Better than some other recent choices in that area. The promo shows Xander waiting for her at the end of the aisle, but this is Salem. So, there will be a massive mess ahead.

Days of Our Lives spoilers: Not so fast!
See, before Gwen and Xander can make it official, we see Gwen begging Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller), “Don’t do this.” However, her half-sister has little sympathy for Gwen. In fact, she sounds pretty pleased with herself as she says, “Oh, you are going down.” That, obviously, will be when everything goes wrong. Clearly, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Abigail reach some agreement, because Abigail will drop a huge bomb on the ceremony. Which will make the men in Gwen’s life go off. However, future teasers indicate that Gwen might just have the last word. We’ll see.
Either way, we’re pretty sure she’s talking to Abigail when she says, “Go to Hell.” And there goes any chance of that family getting along again. Honestly, we’re wondering if this might be the end of Gwen. It’s not like her father will forgive her for yet another major betrayal. And Xander’s reaction makes it clear they’re pretty much toast. Which is basically all Gwen had in this town.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Elsewhere
Of course, this is a double wedding. So, get ready for another surprise for the other couple. Meaning Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) might just be what others have said he is all along. We’re hopeful it’s not that. Of course, if that relationship blows up, too, a revenge plan could be enough reason for Leo and Gwen to stick around. We’ll see.
Plus, there is going to be more of the devil story as Demon Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) prepares for the #Cin baby, and we’ll see some fun ahead as well when someone decides to take a chance on dating. We might also see a former couple on the road to reconciliation.
