Kim Kardashian has opened up on some of the jokes that didn’t make it on SNL during her debut.
Kim Kardashian Stopped Herself From Shading Tristan Thompson On SNL
Kim, for her part, was widely praised for her performance given that she did shade her family including a gold digger joke involving Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble. While that may have been the case, there were certain jokes that did not make the final cut.
And one of those included staying nice to her sister Khloé Kardashian and her failed relationship with Tristan Thompson. After all, there was plenty of material for Kim to get her teeth stuck into knowing that Tristan had a long list of women that he had cheated on.
In an episode of the Kardashian’s reality show ‘The Kardashians,’ Kim ran her jokes past comedian Amy Schumer. Kim said: “Oh, Khloé, you have the biggest heart. It’s so big it has room for Tristan and all of his side pieces,” to which Amy replied: “Oh s–t.”
That joke ultimately did not make the final cut, which is understandable for the following reasons. First of all, Khloe does not need any reminders about Tristan. His affair with Maralee Nicholos led him to having a child with her.
Secondly, in any event, Khloe still has co-parenting relations with Tristan. As such, mocking Tristan would not help in that regard. Lastly, it seems that Kim has a good relationship with Tristan despite everything that he has done.
She added: “He’s one of my best friends. I see Tristan a couple times a week. He’s a really hands-on dad. Me and Tristan don’t have tension. He’s a really hands-on dad.”
The fans on social media were not surprised. After all, it would have been brave for Kim to take on her sister even if it was for the sake of a joke. One person wrote: “Sister vibes.”
