CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to close the week out in style as some progress will be made in a couple of storylines.
We’re in for another character building episode, but this one should give us some more insight into Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)’s reasons for wanting to see Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
And, of course, there’s plenty of needles and voodoo dolls of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to be shared between Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Let’s get to the fun!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 1: Jack figures it out
It looks like Jack’s going to take Diane up on her invitation to return, and she’ll attempt to explain how sorry she is for everything she did and how she wants another chance and so on.
It sounds like another typical plea, but ‘Young and the Restless’ think she’s going to be highly emotional when she’s apologizing, and that could give her a chance at winning Jack over to a certain point.
We’re sure she’ll give him enough to think on to figure out how and why she faked her death, and why it took her so long to reach out to him or anyone in the Abbott family.
We’re not sure if he’ll be willing to forgive her, but he’ll listen and begin to put the puzzle together and he could realize some important and dangerous things.
As we mentioned before, a couple of those realizations could be that she may have been the reason Keemo Abbott (Phillip Moon) wanting to reach out for him, and maybe even the reason Keemo died.
This is going to be an interesting discussion.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 1: The anti-Newman coalition
Okay, so Phyllis and Lauren may not be anti-anyone, but it’ll be hard to tell as they bond over their resentment for how Victor runs roughshod over everyone’s lives and no one they care about can say no to him.
Phyllis lost Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) over his spineless effort to break away and stay away from Victor, and now Lauren’s dealing with the aftermath of Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) being at Victor’s beck and call.
Granted, Michael’s reasoning for wanting to see it through makes sense, but the fact he went to Peru and kept quiet about the reasons why will continue to bother Lauren as much as how quickly he jumps to his feet at Victor’s command.
In the end, this will be a fun venting and bonding scene, but we doubt it’ll go much farther than that.
Will Jack buy into Diane’s story? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
