Adam Scott was unable to be there for the finale of his show ‘Severance’ during a screening of it, as a result of getting Covid-19.
Actor Adam Scott Contracts Covid 19-Recovering In Costa Rica
The show, which is directed by Ben Stiller, is centred on the premise of employees who have had their non-work related memories severed from their work ones. But given that Adam was the only one from the cast to be absent, it was understandably a difficult thing to deal with.
In the picture here, we can see that the cast is on the red carpet in and amongst Ben. Although Adam was not able to make it there, he did leave behind a message for his fans.
In a statement, he said: “Hi everybody, I am so sorry I can’t be there tonight to celebrate ‘Severance’ with you all. I am stuck in Costa Rica with good old COVID. I can’t even tell you how bummed I am to miss this.”
It is not clear how long Adam is going to be out for, but in the meantime, he will not be allowed to return to the United States until he has recovered. And yet, given what we have heard so far, the following comments suggest that it is not going to be too long before Adam recovers.
And by the looks of it, it was not the worst case of Covid you may have ever seen. Judd Apatow, who happened to be moderating a Q&A session with the cast, had this to say: “That is the lightest version of COVID I’ve ever seen. If you aired that on TV no one would get a shot ever.”
This is not the first time that Adam has suffered from Covid. Just last year, he was very frank about how he was lucky not to be hospitalised. This was particularly true since he did not hold back on the symptoms he had been going through, which were very serious indeed.
In a statement at the time, he remarked: “I had covid feb ‘21, luckily not hospitalised. Only way to describe is…run over by a train then placed under a hovercraft for 10 days?” Hopefully, Adam can overcome this and get back to his usual self. So there you have it folks. What do you think about this?
