There has been a lot of tension going on with 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Ben Rathbun and Mahogany Roca have had some ups and downs and now Ben is starting to respond to some news about him being a predator. He has gotten a lot of backlash on the show for wanting to be with a woman who is 30 years older than him. He has been called a predator and many fans are curious why he doesn’t find a woman his own age.

Ben is a former pastor and he met Mahogany online and they had a lot in common when it came to their religious views. He traveled to Peru to meet her and as much as we all thought she was a catfish, she did show up.

Ben and Mahogany were both let down with the way the other looked, but Ben still claims that he is in love with her and wants to marry her. She keeps pushing the fact that they are just friends, but fans of the show are irritated with their story at this point.
On social media, Mahogany really changed her pictures and the way she looked, Ben was a little let down by this, but he opened up about it to fans. He said, “In my opinion, there’s two different kinds of people that do social media. One is someone that wants to show what’s going on in their lives every single day and they want to be real and authentic and show everyone who they are. When I see Mahogany’s page, it’s not like that at all. She posts maybe once every two or three months and it’s just for fun, it’s more for art. So in my opinion, she’s not really trying to deceive anyone, she’s having a fun time.”
Ben talked about the age issue as well, “So I think every case is individual. It’s not about the age to me. I met someone whose heart and whose soul is just so beautiful and someone that I can just connect with on such a different level that I just didn’t want to let that go.” It still seems very odd to viewers that they are so different in their ages, but if they are truly in love and want to be together, they will do what it takes to make it work.
