…And as a result he will not be inviting Jeff Wittek formerly of David Dobrik’s vlog squad on his podcast. The reason being is that a friend of Jeff’s literally drove up into Ethan’s gated community, drove by his house, while filming, and screamed, “I got all the info you need Ethan, don’t test me!” but that wasn’t all, Ethan went onto say that he was threatening him and his family.
That happened Friday, which Ethan describes as “a nightmare” (we can see why), this all resulted in Ethan having to file a police report and having to tighten up security at the gate.
Ethan Klein gets stalked
Why did Jeff’s friend decide to come for Ethan? Because Ethan was making fun of him. Jeff Wittek maintains that the friend situation was not the reason why he wasn’t going on the podcast and that he had told Ethan previously that he was not going to appear on H3H3 podcast after he realized that his and Ethan’s senses of humor just “did not align” and also, he didn’t like the way Ethan kept poking fun at his friend who is mentally disabled and had schizophrenia… yes, the same friend who came for Ethan Klein. “What do you expect when you keep f***ing with a guy who spent half his life in prison?” Wittek asked.
To be fair, it doesn’t look like Ethan knew about that when he made the remarks that he did. Jeff continued in his response to say that Ethan takes everything that he does in his videos out of context and that he stops the videos at the wrong parts and makes “lazy jokes” about his content.
Jeff says that while he didn’t expressly mention in that video that his friend was mentally disabled (after all, no one wears a sandwich sign saying so) he has said it before in previous videos that Ethan would have seen. Still, the comments basically amounted to Jeff’s friend sitting on the couch and doing nothing and apparently, Jeff’s friend took offense to that.. and decided it’d be a good idea to drive up to Ethan’s house.
Clearly, this was horrible situation on all sides, but at least we know the answer to Jeff Wittek ever appearing on the H3H3 podcast now – it’s a no! Stay tuned!!!
