Angelina Jolie has spoken out passionately against domestic violence following the passing of the Violence Against Women Act by Joe Biden.
Angelina Jolie Speaks Out About The Importance Of Tackling Domestic Violence-‘It Is Personal’
This bill has the impact of placing additional measures which would allow authorities the power to combat domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault. And as part of that process, Angelina has been collaborating closely with the advocates of the bill.
This is particularly an issue of importance given that she had reportedly expressed how she had been a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her ex Brad Pitt. Not only that, but Angelina’s kids were also apparently able to corroborate such accounts, if they were allowed to testify.
And as this is such a topic of importance, Angelina felt that more needed to be done to combat this issue. In an interview on NBC Nightly News, Angelina said: “It is personal to everyone.
“Everyone who cares about family, everyone who cares about children, everyone who cares about their own safety and the health of their community. This country doesn’t recognize what a serious domestic violence and child abuse problem it really has.”
But it is not just Angelina who is very close about this issue. She has also been working alongside her daughter, Zahara. In the picture here, we can see that Angelina is with her daughter in Washington DC, as they both work closely with policymakers to tackle this important problem.

One person wrote: “You have to respect Angelina Jolie…She’s trying to protect her kids, Asking for peace, or wanting more rights for Domestic violence. She is quite amazing.” The actress has shown time and time again her willingness to give back. And that is something that should be commended.
