General Hospital spoilers: Over her head?
First, General Hospital spoilers indicate it’s on. This week, Carly promises Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) she’s messing with the wrong people. We’re loving the way Carly manhandles her in the promo while Esme struggles against Carly’s grip. She looks hilarious, and this moment is well-deserved. However, knowing what we know about Esme now, Carly has no idea what she’s started. You know Esme will go crying to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) about what happened, and we have a feeling Carly isn’t a match for a sadistic serial killer that has a whole facility and other professionals fooled right now.
General Hospital spoilers: Fair warning
Elsewhere, Michael warns Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) he shouldn’t trust Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). And we’re wondering if he takes this warning to heart. There’s another clip in the promo where Sonny sweeps a bunch of stuff off a table and Nina looks scared. So, there is obviously some conflict ahead for these two. Given what we saw last week, we’re guessing any tensions between them might have to do with the possible lawsuit. Now, Nina seemed open to doing what Sonny asked, but who knows what could happen next.
Nina was all set to hold off and take Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) advice until Willow told her off. Which we believe was justified. When it comes to her grandson and the visitation, Nina is definitely showing no shame. We can somewhat understand her not being totally forthcoming with what happened on the Haunted Star. However, going to Willow wanting a guarantee while holding back information? Not a good look. And it has now given Willow and Michael more reason to think she’s bad to be around their child.
General Hospital spoilers: Partners?
Finally, let’s talk about Curtis. We all know he’s been happy running The Savoy. And General Hospital spoilers indicate he’s been determined to keep any… questionable elements out of his club. Well, that’s about to get thrown out the window. This week, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) will visit him with an offer to partner with her. Given everything Curtis has already said, we don’t see him accepting this offer. And that is not going to sit well with Selina. So, we see a lot of trouble ahead for him. Could he end up needing Sonny’s help to back her off? We’ll see. What we do know is, this will likely cause problems with him and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett). He clearly has had dealings with the mob before, and this will make Marshall want to step in and help.
Actually, we’d find it interesting if at some point he was connected to the Wu organization or one she’s familiar with. This attempt at a partnership could, in theory, expose whatever Marshall’s been up to.
