Kanye West risks getting himself into trouble with the law, with reports that he may have something to answer for, following a recent incident in which he was alleged to have punched a fan requesting an autograph.
Reports Indicate Kanye West Could Be In Legal Trouble As City Attorney Could ‘File Charges’
According to reports, the incident happened in Los Angeles and after further investigations, Kanye could be charged with assault.
In the video here, we can see that Kanye is not very happy. Shortly, thereafter, the alleged victim is seen on the floor with the implication that he has been hit.
This is the last thing that the rapper needs, especially since his personal life is not in the best possible position. First of all, Kanye cannot deal with the fact that his ex Kim Kardashian has hooked up with Pete Davidson and moved on.
After all, he had always spoken on how he wanted his family reunited. Secondly, given that he is currently going through a divorce and sorting out custody with regards to his kids, there is no denying that incidents like this are only going to work against Kanye.
And if he does end up getting charged, then there could be additional ramifications too. A source told TMZ the following: “The City Attorney has 3 options — file charges, reject the case, or call the involved parties in for an informal office hearing where they could impose certain conditions…like attending anger management classes.”
The response on social media was that Kanye deserved everything that he got. People were of the view that he should be held accountable for his actions and perhaps this would be the wake-up call that he needed in order to get his life on track.
One person wrote: “Honestly if Kanye did do this to a fan he should get charged. Idk if he’d go to jail but maybe the court can force him to get the mental help he needs and to stop harassing Kim. K.”
