In the aftermath of his death,  several women came forward to raise concerns about the manner in which they were being treated in the mansion.

This included damaging statements by Holly Madison, as well as Sondra Theodore. And yet, when it comes to Danielle, she painted the picture of a man who was nothing short of remarkable.

In a documentary entitled ‘Secrets of Playboy,’ she said: “I want to emphasize how I’ve never felt more loved and respected as a woman working for Playboy than in any other job I’ve had in my life.

“I hope people don’t see Playboy in such a negative light when it has changed so many lives in a positive way and empowered many of us.” Danielle’s comments were much in line with what Hugh’s son Cooper Hefner has had to say.

Cooper was of the view that these allegations were simply an attempt to garner extra publicity, especially since his father was no longer alive to defend the claims that were being made against him.

And in the absence of any concrete evidence to the contrary, since Hugh is not here, it has left things in a precarious situation. Danielle added: “This has been a smear campaign and it’s so unwarranted. It makes me so sad.”

But by speaking out, Danielle wants to ensure the next generation that Playboy has given her nothing but happy memories.

In this way, she is hoping that other people are not discouraged to pursue their career aspirations on the basis of the accusations that have come to light.

After all, regardless of what you think about the mansion, there is no denying the fact that it has propelled many careers in the process.

Danielle’s following comments confirmed as much: “Playboy has been such a special part of my life that I will always cherish. They have empowered me, respected me, supported me and cheered me on in my career.”
