Former Playboy Bunny and Hugh Hefner Ex Holly Madison Reveals Strange Filming Experiences

Holly Madison, from The Girls Next Door, worked as a Playboy Bunny and was one of the many girlfriends of Hugh Hefner. She was with him for years and now she is opening up more about the show and her relationship with Hefner. The new A& E 10-part docuseries, “Secrets of Playboy” will expose a world of sex, drugs, and bizarre experiences that happened inside of the Playboy Mansion.

Celebs: Madison’s Side

Holly, who is now 42-years old, said that there were plenty of experiences that she had at the mansion that would have made anyone stop and think about what was going on. She has pointed out that there were some “really strange” experiences there and felt like she needed to share them with viewers.

She told cameras, “It was really strange and probably not what it would be for anybody else, because I had no control over the situation. And I was already living in this situation that was very cult-like.”

She went on to say, “It’s kind of turned into this miserable experience but an experience I felt like I was kind of stuck in. I was like, ‘I cannot leave until I build a life for myself outside,’ cause I’d seen so many women leave and kid of go into these dark places.” Madison also pointed out that she was “scared to leave” the mansion at times as well.

Madison added, “They didn’t pay us for the first half of the season. They just thought we would just do it for free because we were there. They really treated us like children. Like we were just Hef’s kids, and we were expected to work ’cause we were family or something like that.”

Madison mentioned that she always envied the Kardashians when their show hit the air. She said that their experience was with their entre family, while she was doing it “with one best friend, which was cool, one person I had a lot of tension with, and a dude who didn’t treat me very good.”

After the secrets of the Playboy Mansion came out, Playboy made a statement, “Today’s Playboy is not Huge Hefner’s Playboy. We trust and validate these women and their stories and we strongly support those individuals who have come forward to share their experiences. As a brand with sex positivity at its core, we believe safety, security, and accountability are paramount. The most important thing we can do right now is actively listen and learn from their experiences. We will never be afraid to confront the parts of our legacy as a company that do not reflect our values today.”
