Courteney Cox has opened up on the cosmetic procedures that she has been through during her time.
Courteney Cox Opens Up On Her Plastic Surgery-‘I’m Actually Looking Really Strange’
The star, who is best known for being on Friends, was speaking about getting older during a frank interview. After all, she is now 57 and only a few years shy of becoming 60. With such a major milestone nearly approaching in her life, Courtney had a lot to say on it.
During an interview with the Sunday Times Style, she said: “Oh God, it’s so hard to even hear or say. I can’t believe it. There’s nothing wrong with being 60, I just can’t believe it. Time goes so fast.”
Much in the same way, there was a feeling that Courtney had a slight regret over the cosmetic surgery she had been through. She expanded on how she still feels very young inside, given the fact that she has managed to stay mentally sharp throughout the years.
However, at the time of her surgery, she did not realise that it was perhaps making her look in a manner that she did not necessarily like, which she has recognised now.
She added: “I tried to chase that [youthfulness] for years. And I didn’t realize that, oh s–t, I’m actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”
The social media response was the same. A significant majority of people stated that Courtney had begun to look worse, as a result of her procedures.
So much so that they felt she had actually aged as a result, rather than the actual youthfulness that she was trying to go for. And they certainly did not hold back in their comments in that regard.
One person wrote: “Enough with the plastic surgery, pls. That long hair pressed against the face to give a long face also looks silly. Stand up for women to show that aging, wrinkles, freckles, etc are all fine.”
Courtney has come to the realisation that natural beauty was probably the best move, but sadly, it is too little too late as the nature of the social media comments showed.
