In 2021, it was hinted heavily that in 2022, Britney would be doing a sit-down, tell-all interview, likely with Oprah Winfrey. Well, it’s 2022 and there has been no talk of any sit-down/tell-all interview yet. Britney may just be biding her time.
For someone like Britney who hates doing interviews, and was forced to do them several times over the course of her career pre-conservatorship to hear her tell it, of course this time is going to be different and everything is going to be on her terms. Meaning, we may get an interview but we may not. We may get a tell-all book, we may not.

And we may just get a ton of long, shady instagam posts done by Britney herself. If so, okay, we’re here for that as well, however she wants to tell her story we’re here for it. However, at one point it was hinted that she wanted to sit down with Oprah and do an interview ala Megan Markle, but it seems that nothing has come of that.
Britney is no stranger to Oprah, she was on her show back in the early 00’s and recently Oprah got some backlash about her line of questioning back then. But back then, that was the journalistic norm and we didn’t think anything of it.
We know one person Britney won’t be sitting down with any time soon will be Diane Sawyer of ABC News, considering just how thoroughly she roasted her in one of her instagram posts, saying that her Dad had forced the interview upon her and she had not gotten any advance warning and exactly what she thought of Sawyer’s line of questioning. She did not do this to Oprah however, so right now it looks like the door is still open there.
However, door open or not, it looks like Britney is going to be calling the shots in her next interview no matter who is in the interview chair.
Actually, what would be interesting is if she went on instagram and just live-streamed her entire story so that fans could get an idea of what she went through and that way she would have complete control over what was said. Or perhaps if she livestreamed it to youtube? Either way, a lot of people would love to hear straight from the horse’s mouth exactly what’s on Britney’s mind. Stay tuned!!!
