Jamie Lynn Spears has once again reignited the feud with her sister Britney Spears through their latest social media posts.
Britney Spears Denies Jamie Lynn Spears’ Claims That She Approached Her With A Knife
The two sisters have been at war recently, with various verbal shots being exchanged across social media. Jamie has maintained that Britney has not been all that innocent, when it comes to who has been subjected to bad treatment over the years.
She suggested that Britney had been involved in an altercation with her, which required her daughter Maddie to intervene. Not only that, but Jamie has also stressed that Britney’s comments towards her have led to death threats.
On the converse, Britney responded with statements suggesting that this was all part of an attempt to generate publicity for Jamie’s new book, ‘Things I Should Have Said.’
And in an attempt to put this to bed once and for all, the following post suggested that something disturbing must have happened between the pair.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Britney wrote: “I’ve never been around you ever with a knife or would I ever even think to do such,” to which Jamie replied: “Nobody trashes your name more than someone who’s afraid you’ll tell people the truth.”
Clearly, these were some damning comments as it suggested that perhaps things may have gotten out of hand at one point. And if these comments were in fact true, then it hints that Britney was going through some mental health struggles.
But once again, Britney denied doing anything of the sort and viewed it as part of the wider problem which resulted in her independence being taken away when she was subjected to her conservatorship for 13 years.
Britney added: “Now and only NOW I do know only a scum person would make up such things about someone …. I’m actually very confused about you making that up because honestly not like you at all !!!!”
Ultimately, it is a case of Jamie’s word against Britney’s. And the best possible thing that they both could do is let bygones to bygones and get on with their own lives. So there you have it folks.
