90 Day Fiancé alum Tiffany Franco is back together with her South African husband, Ronald Smith, five months after the couple went through a very public, VERY tumultuous split.
“Yes we have[reconciled],” the make-up artist told In Touch magazine. “We are working on our family at this time.”
The news has shocked some 90 Day fans who thought the last split between the two was the final split. Ronald (31) claimed he filed for divorce in last year, citing constant fighting between them, even though he felt Tiffany was “pointing the finger” at him.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ Alum Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith Have Reconciled: “We Are Working on Our Family”
This was far from the first time the pair, who audiences first met (along with Tiffany’s first son, scene-stealer, Daniel) on season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, have split– albeit always temporarily.
Ronald and Tiffany met in January 2017 and dated long distance. The pair married in 2018 and welcomed their daughter, Carley in July 2019. Their first temporary split happened in January of 2020. Almost a year and a half later, in May 2021, things went south again. They stayed together but the patches seemed to get rougher and rougher.
Much of this was documented on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: What Now?, 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined and season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?
During these 90 day spin off appearances, the couple were candid about their struggles that included Tiffany’s trust issues due to Ronald’s past gambling addiction, their indecision when it came to which country to live in (and if Ronald could even move to the US with his past legal woes), different parenting styles, communication troubles amid their long-distance marriage and even cheating allegations (Ronald once accused Tiffany of having an inappropriate relationship with a TLC cameraman).
Though they did try couples counseling the two broke up, seemingly for good in August 2021. Though still technically married, Ronald moved on with another woman, going Instagram Official with his girlfriend, Lauren Fraser in November.
Seems like Lauren is out and Tiffany is back in. It is unknown, however, if the trust issues, communication, parenting, flying accusations or even where to live has been solved.
Watch for another split announcement from the pair soon…probably.
