It was a great day for fans of 90 Day Fiancé when they looked at Paola Mayfield’s Instagram post to see that she and her husband, Russ Mayfield had made up and gotten back together. The couple has been having a really hard time with their marriage and according to Paola, they were just pretending that everything was fine.
The couple went through some major changes during the pandemic and that was one of the reasons that they could not make things work. They sought professional help and it looks like they have really been working on getting their marriage back together.

When Paola made the announcement that the couple was taking a break, she seemed devastated. Her manager gave a statement about the couple and it looks like Russ lost his job when the pandemic broke out and Paola had to take on all of the responsibilities on her own, including the finances. This hit her pretty hard and they started to feel the stress in their marriage.

Paola and Russ do believe in working hard on their relationship though. They went to a counselor to help with their marriage and it looks like they were given homework on how to make it work. In a recent post on Instagram, Paola shared a video of a party she was at with Russ. She captioned it, “We believe in second chances.” In the video, they kissed and were dancing together.
Her fans loved the video and were quick to give her some quick advice. One of them wrote to her, “Aww yay! I’m so happy for you guys. Marriage ISN’T easy. If it was, everyone would be married!” Another added, “Good! I am glad! I love you guys together! You have such a beautiful family!” More and more fans told her that she needs to keep fighting for her love and it will all work out if both partners show that they want the marriage and will do anything to stay in it.
Some fans think that these rumors of divorce were just for more fame, but Paola hasn’t replied to those rumors. We are happy that they were able to work it all out and we really do hope that they can ring in the new year with more trust and love in each other than ever before.
