’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that Kim Menzies, current “almost girlfriend” of Usman Umar of Before the 90 days, has made it no secret that back in the states she helps take care of her ailing Mom.
In fact, during filming she was worried about her Mom and had to have a friend come and stay with her while shew as in Tanzania with Usman because of her Mom’s mobility issues. Kim seemed to have a good relationship with her Mom, and her Mom even seemed pretty supportive of the relationship and of Kim running halfway around the world to be with a man she had previously only known online.

But all that changed last night, when Kim Menzies posted that her Mother had died. She said in the post: “My mom passed away last night. No one will ever understand how close her and I were. She was my #1 supporter and my best friend.
I will miss you for the rest of my life but I know you will always be with me and in my heart. I love you Mommy. 💔❤️” from what we could see of Kim’s Mom, she was arguably one of the best examples of a Mom on the 90 day franchise. In a show filled with toxic Mothers, it was refreshing to see one that wasn’t.
We feel for Kim during this time, because losing a Mom is just not something you recover from. Once lost, you always miss your Mother. While we can be glad that she didn’t lose her during filming and that she could be there for her during that time, this is still quite the loss.
We don’t exactly know if Usman and Kim actually made it through this season as a couple yet, but for Kim’s sake, we kind of hope that they did. It would be good for her to have a support system during a time like this.
Even though Kim most recently offered to flip a table if anyone flirted with Usman, but that was an almost reasonable reaction compared to the last woman that Usman was with. Our hearts go out to Kim in this heartbreaking time. Stay tuned!!!
