‘Selling Sunset’ duo Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause have addressed the news that the pair have broken up.
‘Selling Sunset’ Duo Jason Oppenheim And Chrishell Stause Speak Out Following Their Split
The duo, for their part, had been together in the public eye for around 5 months. Naturally, the news was a shock especially since everything seemed to be going well.
And for Chrishell, this is the latest high-profile relationship that has ended in tears following her divorce from Justin Hartley, as well as her short romance with ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ professional dancer Keo Motsepe.
And yet, Chrishell had no regrets over her time with Jason. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Chrishell said: “It felt scary and terrifying knowing that it may not end in what society deems a success and what I am ultimately looking for.
“[Our relationship was successful] after many long heartfelt talks…no matter what label is attached to it publicly.”
This begs the question, why did the pair decide to split up? Well, on closer inspection, it could have been for the following reasons.
First of all, Chrishell repeatedly came under fire after people started to accuse her of only being successful on the show by virtue of the fact that she was dating Jason. Therefore, her real estate success was attributed to her connection with him.
Secondly, there is always a danger when people decide to mix their personal and business relationships together. It is not possible to divide those things, when two people are in each other’s company all the time.Â
Nevertheless, that has not left the pair with any hard feelings. Jason also happened to speak on the split and stated how they would continue to remain on good terms, despite parting ways.
In an official statement, he remarked: “While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another.
“She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life.”
The pair may have gone their separate ways, but it is good to see them having no bitterness towards each other. If you enjoyed reading this article, then please make sure you check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
