    Queen Elizabeth II

Shocking information is now coming to light in response to the Christmas incident in which a man was arrested for trespassing at Windsor Castle, where the Queen had apparently been celebrating Christmas.

Armed Man Who Had Trespassed At Windsor Castle Shared A Video Stating ‘I Will Attempt To Assassinate Elizabeth’

According to reports, the defendant was a 19-year-old man by the name of Jaswant Singh Chail. At the time of his arrest, he was armed with a crossbow.

Although there was no injury sustained in the incident, the news raised alarm at the manner in which the man was able to bypass security on such an easy basis.

And now it looks as though this was a carefully coordinated plan, with an intention of inflicting severe harm on the Queen.

It is claimed that prior to the incident emerging, the man had circulated a video on Snapchat amongst some friends in which he had stated the following: “I will attempt to assassinate Elizabeth, Queen of the Royal Family.

“This is revenge for those who have died in the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It is also revenge for those who have been killed, humiliated and discriminated on because of their race.”

Understandably, these comments have caused concern. However, it is important to bear in mind the following. Jaswant has allegedly been sectioned under the Mental Health Act which suggests his mental state was not right.

While that is no justification for the conduct that he would go on to do, it does put it into some much-needed context. Secondly, his actions were completely alien to what he was known for doing.

His father Jasbir Singh Chail, told the MailOnline the following: “Something’s gone horribly wrong with our son and we are trying to figure out what.

“We’ve not had a chance to speak to him but are trying to get him the help he needs. From our perspective, we are going through a difficult time.”

The only thing we can do is let the authorities conclude their investigations and ultimately decide whether there is going to be any additional ramifications for the defendant. We will have to see how it all plays out.
