So, we all heard that Tana Mongeau was going to be on Season 3 of Reality House and a lot of people were here for it. All of her followers were looking forward to all the drama she would bring the otherwise underpublicized show. However, on the very first episode Tana literally pulled a Tana and chickened out on the first challenge which was a rock climbing challenge.

All of the guests were going to have to rock climb on the show and she said, “I love ya’ll, but I can’t do that.” and proceeded to talk about how she had spent over $500 just her manicure that morning and didn’t want to ruin it by rock climbing, in fact, she was willing to go home in the very first episode.

But it seems that didn’t happen.

As we found out in her tiktok comments (from the tiktok she made afterwards because she received so much backlash from her stunt), she will be competing in other challenges so it seems that the organizers of the show did let her sit this one out.

A lot of people were asking why on earth Tana would even sign up to be on a series that had so many physical challenges in it if she didn’t plan on participating in any one of them.

However, Tana answered this one in a comment as well saying that she had told the show’s organizers ahead of time that she wasn’t atheletically inclined and they wanted her to participate anyway. “Clout?” she asks, maybe.

But if you’re a longtime viewer of Tana Mongeau’s then her not wanting to participate in physical challenges makes perfect sense. She addressed it in a tiktok by saying that long ago she had uploaded a storytime detailing how she used to literally punch herself in the face and make her own nose bleed so that she would not have to participate in physical activity at school.

The longtime viewers will remember this story as “I punched myself in the face”, but to those followers who are relatively new (or forgot that video existed because hey, that happens too), then it wouldn’t make much sense.

In the old video, Tana describes how much she hated PE as a kid and didn’t want to do it, so on school sanctioned “field days” when kids were required to do fitness tests and the like, Tana would do anything to get out of it, including fake an illness – of course she didn’t have to really fake an illness, apparently because of an inherited medical condition Tana had a lot of nosebleeds as a child and she said that giving her nose the gentlest nudge would send her into a full-blown nosebleed.

Well, this time she went for broke and punched herself in the face causing her nose to gush blood, resulting in Tana getting sent home. However, she couldn’t keep the truth from everyone for long though and later got in trouble for faking, so it’s not like she got away with it. The thing is, Tana was honest with these guys up front and they still chose to have her on the show, so… that was their choice. We’ll see where this leads. Stay tuned!!!
