‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that Moriah Plath admitted that she had gone camping a lot in the front yard of the Plath family farm as a child, but she also said that she didn’t really get to enjoy the full experience of a real camping trip because when she was growing up there was always a ‘baby’ that needed to be taken care of, so their camping trips as children would often be interrupted by diaper changes and whatever else a baby needs.
She didn’t seem bitter about it, it was just a fact of Plath family life. But Ethan and Olivia had decided to plan a sibling trip all up to Bangor, Maine where they could all camp in the Acadia National Park, a Park that Olivia had always wanted to go to.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: First adult camping trip
While they were there they stopped at a little corner store where Moriah got to hold a live lobster. She named it Joey and deemed it ‘cute’, moment of silence for Joey because I’m pretty sure that was the last photograph of him alive, but I’m sure he’s in a much better place now.
Ethan’s inner southern boy came out, he said he did not like getting wet because it made him miserable and as a fellow southerner – I felt that deep within my soul. A cold, rainy camping trip is the last thing that anyone actually wants, except for maybe Olivia, Micah, and Moriah, they didn’t seemed phased at all by the dismal weather up in Maine.
Meanwhile, Ethan decided that he was going to make himself useful and put up a tarp by himself without anyone around to bug him about it.
Before he had been trying to set up the tarp and getting a bit of resistance from Olivia and his siblings because they were questioning his idea about how it would work with the tent, but while they went hiking, Ethan set to work and it seems that he got things done to his liking because he later joined them just in time for them to want to hike all the way back and do a campfire… poor Ethan, his work may never be done on this camping trip.
He also seemed to be pretty miserable because Olivia refused to share a tent with him, but they’re still working on their relationship… so it’s kind of understandable. We’ll see how far the off-and-on things go though, stay tuned!!!
