Travis Scott’s performance at the Astroworld festival in Houston left the star in shock, given that a reported eight people had died with many others injured following a stampede.

Travis Scott Had Been Arrested Previously For Allowing Fans To Rush On Stage

It is not exactly clear why this incident had occurred, but looking back, a lack of safety is something that has been present at Travis’ concerts in the past.

According to claims, Travis had been arrested in 2017 because he was accused of allowing fans to get past security and rush onto the stage at one of his performances in Arkansas.

If this is taken to be true, then it is clear that Travis’ concert set-up needs looking at. Just when you thought that was bad enough, the performer was apparently involved in some other legal trouble in 2015.

During this year, he had allegedly pleaded guilty to charges around reckless conduct following an incident at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.

Although nobody was injured in this particular incident, it is important to know that once again, Travis had allegedly allowed fans to get around security to come on stage.

And this public image is not going to do him any good with so many families outraged at the tragedy that had occurred. After all, the only way that the families of the deceased can ever get closure is when somebody is held to account.

In this way, it prevents anything similar from ever happening again. Trent Clark, who happens to be the editor-in-chief of HipHopDX, had this to say: “Travis Scott’s whole aesthetic is about rebellion.

“The shows have a lot of raging… It’s not uncommon to see a lot of crowding and raging or complete wild behaviour at a Travis Scott show.”

There is a real danger that if Scott does not reform the way that he conducts his shows, the chances of him ever getting back to the stage are going to be very difficult.

Furthermore, the recent rise of cancel culture has not helped his cause in anyway as stars have been cancelled for creating less damage. Time will tell what the future holds for Travis.
