‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that while Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) storyline might be being drug out, viewers are enjoying Ordway’s performance. As she’s been struggling with the supposed death of Chance Chancellor and trying to keep up with Dominic, fans have liked her.
Now, in a preview, it looks like Abby is going to be turning to pills to try to cope with everything that’s been happening. A pill addiction storyline to boot could be interesting, but overall the entire storyline has been just okay. Check out the preview for this coming week below.

Speaking on Ordway’s talent, several views have explained that if not for her, this storyline would be dead in the water, but she’s able to keep it somewhat afloat. Some have even called for an Emmy nomination for the young actress.
Viewers wrote, “I think Melissa Ordway is doing a fantastic job with this story line. My heart goes out to Abby.”, “Melissa is one of the BEST actresses on daytime 💯”, “Melissa Ordway is killing it………She better submit for the Daytime Emmys next year!”, and “Abby just can’t seem to get a break man.”
Should Abby get addicted to these pills, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will surely be on the lookout and use it as an excuse to get Dominic away from her. Mariah has been obsessed, and if Abby slips up just a little, you can be certain that Mariah will find a way to use it against her.
Hopefully, Chance isn’t dead, and he’ll be returning soon because Abby is a complete mess without him.
