‘The Bachelor’ spoilers find that ABC has revealed the premier date for its 26th season and, keeping true to form, it is a very early January start for Clayton Echard and his hopeful ladies. On January 3rd, a whole new look Bachelor will see Jesse Palmer coach the new lead through his ‘journey’ and, most importantly, point out when Clayton is down to his last rose each ceremony. For those uninitiated, Jesse is an ex-NFL player who helmed season 5 of The Bachelor all the way back in 2004. He has since turned to hosting several shows like Daily Mail, The Holiday Baking Championship and The Proposal.
‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Season 26 Premiere Date and Other Details (Like the Next-Next Bachelor) Revealed!
While Chris Harrison will no longer be on screen, a familiar entity will be returning. For the first time since Peter Webber’s season 24, filming will resume in the Bachelor Mansion! ABC has also promised travel for the cast- though they haven’t gone as far as to say it will be international trips. Then again, ABC is still trying to keep Clayton’s identity under wraps as he is currently competing on Michelle Young’s presently airing Bachelorette season, even though it was spoiled many months ago. Fans were excited to get to know Clayton throughout Michelle’s season so they would already be invested before the January 3rd premier of his season, however, so far the only thing Clayton is showing us is that ABC has a type.
Tall, ex-NFL player and loves his Mom.
That seems to be the formula. But then, rumors have been churning in the form of blogger and professional reality TV ruiner- Reality Steve, saying that it has been leaked that not only will 2022 bring back-to-back Bachelor seasons (after back-to-back Bachelorette seasons this year ), but the next-next lead is very well known to audiences. And beloved. And NOT a football player.
Widowed dad, Michael Allio from Katie Thurston’s Bachelorette season has been said to have signed on to be the next-next Bachelor!
So far, this is only a rumor. While Reality Steve has a good track record of collecting and dispersing accurate information, he got the season 26 lead incorrect.
All fans know is that as long as its not Blake Moynes (Katie Thurston’s winner but recent ex), then we are alllll good.
Tune in to Michelle Young’s season of the Bachelorette, Tuesdays on ABC at 8pm ET!
