Queen Elizabeth II reportedly only speaks to a couple of people on the phone, and by the looks of it, the names may surprise you.
Queen Elizabeth II Only Speaks To Two People On The Phone Through An ‘Anti-Hacker Encryption By MI6’
That is according to Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti. The Queen, for her part, is known for being extremely occupied with her Royal duties, despite being at the age of 95-years-old.
Although she has suffered from health scares recently, which have led to the cancellation of state visits, it has not slowed down her enthusiasm to continue being a monarch.
And having the Queen as a source of contact is something significant given that she is a head of state. As such, there have naturally been restrictions put in place to limit contact time with the Queen.
This in light of the growing cyber threat fears that have been going around due to the rise of Russia and China. That is why the Queen had apparently called for an increase in measures to deal with such a threat.
During an interview on the ‘Royally Us’ podcast, Jonathan spoke on how the Queen leaves no stone unturned when it comes to her telephone conversations.
He said: “Apparently, the Queen has two people who she speaks to the most on her phones. And she also apparently has a mobile phone.
“[It] is said to be [a] Samsung packed with anti-hacker encryption by MI6 so nobody can hack into her phone.” As such, there were questions over who she would be in contact with?
Rather than it being the usual names of Prince William or Prince Charles who would be expected given how involved they are in Royal duties, the Queen has chosen two other names that were not on the lips of people.
In this way, it is clear that the Queen has certain protocols in her line of communication. He added: “But the two people she phones the most is said to be her daughter Princess Anne and her racing manager John Warren.
“So this is apparently who can get through to the Queen from anywhere in the world if he calls, she answers.” Having access to the Queen is certainly a privilege.
