The initial offering includes titles linked to Netflix shows, such as “Stranger Things: 1984” and “Stranger Things 3: The Game.” Also included are “Shooting Hoops,” “Card Blast” and “Teeter Up.” The games will be available on each user’s profile, with the exception of kids profiles.

Mike Verdu, Netflix’s vice president for game development said the company wants to create games for “every kind of player, whether you’re a beginner or a lifelong gamer.”

“We’re excited to continue improving our mobile gaming experience and adding to our entertainment offering in the months ahead”, he added.

For now, games are only available on Android platforms. There’s no word yet on when the platform will be available to iPhone users. So far, Netflix has released only five available games to play, but the company says it’ll be expanding its catalogue in the near future.
