Britney Spears former business manager Lou Taylor has denied claims that she had been involved in bugging the star’s home during her conservatorship.
Britney Spears Former Business Manager Lou Taylor Denies Bugging Her House
According to the court documents, as shown here, Lou and her company have always maintained that they had no surveillance over the singer.
The documents revealed: “No one at [Taylor’s business] Tri-Star is aware of any hidden electronic surveillance device placed in Ms Spears’ bedroom.”
And yet, this would run counter to the narrative that Britney had stated in court before. She had apparently admitted that her life was being so micromanaged that she could not even have children or have gotten married to her now fiancé Sam Asghari.
Therefore, Britney believes this was only possible if she was being monitored. Her legal team had previously stated: “[Her father had] engaged in horrifying and unconscionable invasions of his adult daughter’s privacy.”
With there being such a clear contradiction, there could only be two possible explanations. First of all, one side is not telling the truth. After all, there is a lot of money on the line either way.
Secondly, Britney’s claims could be true, but it does not mean that Lou and her team were responsible for doing it. Take, for example, the revelations which recently came out in Britney’s documentary called ‘Controlling Britney Spears.’
According to Alex Vlasov, who had been working for the security company Black Box which had done some work for Britney, he stated how Britney’s activities were being monitored.
He said: “You would be able to see all messages, all FaceTime calls, notes, browser history, photographs. [It] reminded me of somebody that was in prison and security was put in a position to be the prison guards.”
Regardless of what may have happened, one thing for sure is that Britney will be looking to get justice against those who have wronged her. And with public opinion now firmly on her side, there is a chance that she will get just that.
But as for whether Lou was responsible, that is ultimately something that the courts will consider. We will have to see how it plays out.
