’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers reveal that Sumit Singh is probably the most passive-aggressive cast member on the entire franchise of 90 day fiancé. Instead of telling Jenny that he didn’t like the way she cleaned house and working that out between them, when his Mom proposed moving in with them he was all too giddy to accept that offer and have them come stay with them.
Then, he basically told Jenny that they have to be completely compliant with anything that the elder Singh’s want, and they can say and do anything they want and even take the couple’s bed from them if they want to and they can’t say anything about it.

Even when Sumit and Jenny ordered brand new furniture for her in-laws and had a guest room made up specifically for them. In India it’s common for multiple families to live together, okay fine, but it begs the question, did Mrs. Singh do this with Sumit’s brother or is it just Sumit that she has the unhealthy attachment with?
Jenny’s friend, Polly, pointed out that in India it was common for the Mother-in-Law to come and stay with the married couple for a few months in order to train the daughter-in-law how to be a traditional Indian housewife and if you’re from India then that’s probably pretty common.
However, Jenny pointed out a pretty big cultural difference, she’s American. In the US we don’t do this, we don’t really tend to have multiple families living with each other, at least it’s not common. So she isn’t used to someone coming in and judging her cooking abilities and her cleaning abilities and everything that Sumit’s Mom was doing.
Granted, the kitchen was pretty dirty but everyone has bad days and days in which they don’t feel like cleaning – also Jenny’s a senior citizen, she’s earned the right to live her life however she wants, she worked for 6 days a week, sometimes more, when she was in the states. She’s earned the right to not obsessively clean her house and for her house to look lived in.
We can only hope that somehow Mama Singh doesn’t whisper in Sumit’s ear that this needs to be a permanent move because Jenny can’t keep the house clean enough for her baby boy.
Right now the stay is only for a few days, but Sumit looked all too giddy for his Mom to be there and to be cleaning his house and ordering Jenny around. I don’t really think he would mind it being a permanent move… if that is proposed, then Jenny needs to run like the wind back to the US. Stay tuned!!!
