NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux) was out of the picture for a while. We thought it made sense, after everything that happened with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) fall. But there was also a real-world reason. Miller was pregnant and taking time with her new baby. Recently, the actress has opened up about her experience off screen and her return to the show. Let’s see what she had to say.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Powerhouse
First, we have to give props. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal they sent Miller off with a bang. Between Chad’s betrayal and Gwen’s presence, Abigail seemed on the verge of losing it. Miller owned each scene and had us laughing at times with her comebacks to Gwen. So, it is no surprise she’s currently set up to expose Gwen’s miscarriage lie.
If this does happen, you can bet we’ll have a lot of great scenes between the two to enjoy. But there was a lot of real-life stuff going at the same time which we’re sure made the story all the more emotional.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: New mom
In Soap Opera Digest, Miller opened up in two different interviews about being a new mom. In both, she spoke about the change that it creates with in you. But in one in particular, she talked about the joy of having something to herself a while as she prepared for a new baby.
Said the actress, “So much of our life is public and we get to choose what parts of it we want to share and why.”
For that reason, Miller kept things quiet by choice. The news broke, apparently, after someone googled and found her registry. But the actress wasn’t phased.
As for keeping it quiet as long as she did, she pointed out, “It wasn’t hard. You don’t post anything and that’s it.”
This extended to her co-stars with whom she’s close. She pointed out that Sal Stowers (Lani Price) and Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) wouldn’t post any pics with her that showed her bump. So, it’s nice to see everyone had respect for her boundaries and desire to keep things hush hush a while.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The return
The actress was grateful to have plenty of time at home with her newborn, of course. But all the time off did have one somewhat negative effect on her.
“I felt a little rusty when I first came back, but we eventually got into the groove of it,” Admitted Miller in the interview.
We personally didn’t notice any rust, so that’s a credit to the actresses’ ability and the people working with her. We have to say we’re particularly loving her recent moments with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). More on that and where we think it might lead another time.
