A stalker who had been given a 5-year restraining order preventing him from approaching Kim Kardashian has been arrested for breaching the terms of it.

The defendant, Nicholas Costanza, was known for overstepping the boundaries after he had allegedly sent Kim a diamond ring and a contraceptive pill.
The response of Kim was to approach the authorities who granted the order in July of this year. And yet, Nicholas could not help himself.
According to TMZ, the police arrived after Nicholas had trespassed into her property, which caused the security team to apprehend the man before he was taken away by the police.
In response, the police have set his bail at a reported $150,000. The very fact that Nicholas has done this on more than one occasion suggests that he is a high risk.
Therefore, there are serious grounds for him to do time behind bars in order to protect Kim. Not only that, but this is not the first time that Kim has had to experience this type of behaviour.
Just this year, another man by the name of Charles Peter Zelenoff had also been stalking Kim. According to TMZ, at the time, the man was “trying to get inside her home and is ‘in love with her.
“[He attempted] to pursue a physical relationship with [Kim].” This event does raise concerns over the safety of high profile celebrities. If it can happen to Kim, then there is a chance that other big names could be in the firing line.
In addition, given that she is a mother to several kids, it is important that the authorities crackdown on this type of behaviour. This is especially true now that she is a single mother, going through a divorce that is bound to add some extra stress into her life.
Although some might argue that Kim’s social media activity attracts this type of behaviour, it does not justify what Nicholas did. He should rightly be punished, and it should serve as an example to other people who are doing similar things that this behaviour is not to be tolerated.
