Jackson Mahomes, who is the brother of Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, has apologised after he was caught dancing on a memorial in honour of Sean Taylor.

The incident had occurred over the weekend when Jackson was filmed doing a TikTok dance near a logo that was printed on the field in memory of Sean. Naturally, fans on social media blasted Jackson for his lack of respect.
They could not understand why he would do such a thing, knowing that his brother would have informed him of who Sean was when he visited the scene of the incident.
And in an attempt to put things right, Jackson issued a heartfelt apology on social media. In a post to his fans on Twitter, Jackson said: “I want to sincerely apologise for accidentally being on the Sean Taylor #21 at FedEx Field.
“We were directed to stand in that area, and I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family.” Nevertheless, one eagle eye fan criticised Jackson and called him out for being dishonest over where he was told to stand.
In the picture here, we can see that Sean’s logo has been cordoned off. Therefore, it was not possible for someone to stand on it unless they went past the barrier. And so it showed, as a fan posted a picture showing this very thing.
The incident was even more disturbing in light of how Sean had died. In 2007, he was tragically shot to death after his home was burgled. And when he died, he was only 24-years-old.
Also worth nothing Brittany Matthews, Patrick’s fiancee, did accept Jackson’s apology and even defended him when he was criticised.
In response to a hater, she stated: “Does this make you feel tough behind a fake account??? I’m all for building confidence, so if this is what you have to do, then go for it. you ain’t disturbing my peace.”
