It has been speculated that Chris and Roberta Laundrie, parents of Brian Laundrie, have aided and abetted their missing son, Brian Laundrie, in his now five week long evasion of the law after the murder of his girlfriend, Gabby Petito.
Brian is a person of interest in the case and so far has only been charged with bank fraud for using Gabby’s card after spending over $1,000 in two days when it was clear that Gabby was not present to approve those charges.
Did Brian Laundrie’s parents make a deal with the FBI?
Today, a bunch of his belongings including a backpack and a notebook belonging to Laundrie have been found next to partial human remains in an area that was previously submerged under water.
The remains are suspected to be of Laundrie, but have not been positively identified as of yet. So far it is said that Brian’s parents have not been all that helpful in the investigation into their son’s disappearance and yesterday was spotted at a walmart and a UPS store which started the rumors swirling all over again.
However, this morning when they found the items, they put in a call to the Laundrie’ s to come out to the reserve that they may have found something. Yesterday it was said that they finished their grid search and were now moving onto more tactical search methods, that’s when they ended up finding the remains that are suspected of belonging to Laundrie.
However there is another theory going around that perhaps the FBI extended and olive branch to the Laundrie’s and made them a deal. FOX News host of the GUTFELD! show Greg Gutfeld suggested on Wednesday that maybe the timing of the parents going to the park is a little bit suspicious. The parents supposedly went to the park on Monday night, and then were called back on Tuesday morning after authorities wanted to alert them that they found something, which we then learned were the belongings of Brian Laundrie’s as well as human remains which remain unidentified as of yet. The theory suggests that a deal might have been made between the Laundrie family and the FBI. If they came out and helped “locate” these remains that the FBI found then maybe the FBI wouldn’t charge them with the crime that the court of public opinion has already convicted them of.
While it may be a cynical position to take, it could be a logical one and no one wants to be tried and convicted of obstructing justice, especially in a nationwide manhunt that’s gone on for five weeks.
So it would stand to reason that the Laundrie’s, who might be innocent of everything (just have a really odd way if expressing it), would make a deal that would let them come up smelling of roses. The truth will come out one way or another, and we at DSD will be right there when it does. Stay tuned!
