‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers find that Ivan Hall’s surprise find in his hotel room has Bachelor Nation fans feeling very suspicious.
Last week, Ivan was called out by host of the week, Wells Adams and given the chance to confess he had broken the Bachelor in Paradise rules when the cast were evacuated from their Mexican beach due to an incoming tropical storm.
Ivan admitted that he knocked on soon-to-arrive on the beach, Alexa Caves’ hotel room door and the two spent the evening “getting to know one another”.
‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Spoilers: Was Ivan Hall Set Up by Producers?
So, if Alexa had not yet arrived in Paradise, how did Ivan know she was in the hotel…and how did he know where to find her?
Very conveniently, a producer left a phone in Ivan’s room (that he was sharing with Noah Erb), open to a page displaying Alexa’s room number. So, was this an accident (and has the producer who lost his phone in any sort of trouble) or was the phone in the room a plant (and has the producer who left it there been given a bonus?)
Several fans didn’t quite buy the story that the phone was ‘left behind’ by a producer.

Now Bachelor alum , and friend of Ivan, Kelley Flannagan is feeding these flames of producer treachery by speaking out on the Here for the Right Reasons podcast.
“With Ivan, it’s almost like you can’t blame him and I’ll tell you why,” Kelley explained, “because those producers are so strict with their phones. They don’t let you just play with their phones. They don’t just happen to leave a phone around.”
She went on to say she fully believes the phone was a plant, especially because Ivan claims the list of room number was readily available to him, rather than a home screen with a lock or similar.
“If it was, like, a phone and it had text messages on it or the home screen or something, like, OK, one thing, but when you look at the phone and it’s blatantly everyone’s rooms, you gotta think that that was planted a little bit.”
Kelley also gave the producers props- if in fact it was a set-up.
“Hey genius on their idea, it worked clearly,” she continued. “If that was intentional, you know, it worked, if not, then who knows.”
Ivan and Alexa haven’t gone public with any sort of relationship post (almost) Paradise, but have been liking, sharing and tagging each other each other’s social media posts.
It would be kind of cool if these two were the ones who make it!
