Howie Mandel is back at home and recovering from reportedly fainting at a Los Angeles Starbucks earlier in the day. The 65-year-old ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge suffered the medical issue while getting a cup of coffee with his wife and friends.
“I was dehydrated and had low blood sugar,” Mandel said in a Wednesday night tweet explaining the ordeal. Mandel was briefly hospitalized. He also wrote,
“I appreciate the great doctors and nurses that took such good care of me. Thank you to everyone who reached out but I am doing ok!”
Comedian Howie Mandel Back Home After Fainting Spell At Starbucks
Many people were worried when they first heard the news that he had fainted, but it looks like he has recovered without issues and his blood sugar was simply a little low. We’re glad to see that he’s doing well and look forward to seeing him more.
Fans of his commented on his Tweet, “Keep some peanut butter pretzels or something with protein around the same be the quickest reverse of hypoglycemia… Unless you can eat a full meal when or it before it starts! Some prescrips seem to make it worse! Especially taken on an empty stomach.”, “You didn’t deserve what happened, it was terrible. Don’t ever put the blame on yourself for these kinds of things. Stay strong, remember your friends and family are here and care about you, and keep being true to yourself!” and “Glad you’re better. Starbucks is not a place one would go who is concerned about their health. A home installed reverse osmosis water system is the safest place to get your drinks. Just sayin’.”
